Extract a table from a PDF into Excel
Add a column for each one in the table and every row comes back in order, across pages, ready for Excel or CSV.
Only the fields you name
A policy number, a reference, a date: add the field, describe it in a line, and that is what comes back. The description is the best way to get the right value.
PDF to CSV or JSON
The same result downloads as CSV for a spreadsheet or JSON for a script. Scanned PDFs and phone photos saved as PDF work too.
Questions
How do I extract data from a PDF into Excel?
Add a field for each value you want, and a table column for each column of a table. Describe each one in a line, drop the PDF in the box above, press Extract and download the Excel file.
Can it extract a table from a PDF to Excel?
Yes. Add the table's columns and every row comes back on its own line in the Excel or CSV file, including tables that run across pages.
Is it free?
Yes. One PDF of up to 2 pages at a time, with a small daily allowance and no account. A free account takes longer documents, whole batches, and keeps your field choices.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
Yes. A scan or a phone photo saved as a PDF is read the same way as a digital one.
Is my PDF stored?
No. The file is read and the result comes straight back to your browser; we keep no copy of either. That is also why you should download the result before you leave the page.
Need more than 2 pages?
A free account takes longer documents and whole batches, and keeps your field choices. 30 free tokens to start, no card needed.
